After more than thirty years of advising companies, boards of directors, investors, and public institutions, I founded Barraza Legal as the natural evolution of my professional career: a boutique law firm tailored to provide strategic and highly specialized legal counsel in high-complexity corporate matters, investments, and cross-border transactions. Moving away from the traditional law firm model, Barraza Legal was conceived as a practice of strategic and trusted counsel, combining international standards with a deep knowledge of the local environment to support our clients in making strategic decisions, both in Argentina and internationally.

Corporate and international business attorney with over 35 years of experience advising companies, boards of directors, investment structures, and public institutions, with specific involvement in highly regulated and strategically sensitive industries.

His practice integrates corporate law, international business, corporate governance, complex litigation, contract negotiation, fiduciary structures, compliance, and regulatory counsel, with a strategic approach oriented toward board-level decision-making.

 

Throughout his career, he has served as a director, statutory auditor, and legal representative for companies linked to the energy, mining, agribusiness, hospitality, luxury tourism, and real estate sectors, including entities related to Grupo Pampa Energía, Minera San Jorge (PSJ Cobre Mendocino), and Medanito S.A.

 

For over two decades, he has also served as legal counsel to the Court of Audit of the Province of Mendoza, specializing in legal auditing and the fiduciary oversight of public trusts and state-owned investment structures.

 

His international postgraduate education, along with his international certification in ethics and compliance, complements a career focused on corporate governance, institutional integrity, risk management, regulation, and transnational operations.

 

His professional activity is complemented by an extensive academic career as Full Professor of Private International Law and of International Business and Companies at the Universidad de Mendoza, in addition to his participation in specialized training programs in arbitration and international business.
